Jp Peterson is an artist born and raised in Connecticut. They received their BSEd in Art Education from Central Connecticut State University in 2024. With a passion for both creating and teaching art, Jp is a versatile and knowledgeable artist. They are currently an elementary art teacher in Meriden, CT.
Prior to this, Jp worked as an Art Instructor at the Guilford Arts Center starting in June 2023. In 2021, they served as a substitute teacher in the Cromwell Public School System. Throughout 2022 and 2023, Jp gained valuable experience through placements in Hartford, Farmington, Windsor, West Hartford, and New Britain. They also completed their student teaching in Hartford and Meriden in 2024.
